FAQS

D'AIR

PROJECT

aerial dance

I have no experience where should I start?

Aerial fitness classes are a great place to start and can be taken at any time as a drop-in.  We also offer intro to aerial dance series in trapeze and fabrics several times a year, these are progressive and continue to advance if a group of students want to continue after the intro series. Don't miss your chance when they are offered! change me and your own content. To customize me and change my font click on the Design tab in the property panel.

What should I wear to class?

For any of the aerial classes we recommend 'Yoga attire', stretchy, form-fitting clothes. Pant length should be at least 3/4 length. For Aerial Fabrics class we require that you wear or bring a sleeved shirt (short sleeve is ok). No socks and shoes and please no jewelry.

How do I register and pay for class?

For adult classes, please register and pay online through Zenplanner.  If you are unable to do so, please send us an email and you may pay with check or cash and fill out release forms at the studio.  We accept cash or checks made out to DAIR. Unless drop-in fee is noted, all classes are progressive and require monthly payments due at the beginning of the month.  Youth and teens have a separate process as they are an annual program that requires applying.  Please visit Our Programs section for more information.

Can you accommodate patrons with special needs?

We seek to be inclusive and make a concerted effort to make our programs available to everyone.  If you need reasonable modifications due to a disability, including communications in an alternative format, in order to particpate in any of our programs please contact us at 404-622-3247 at least 7-14 days in advance to facilitate your request.  For TDD/TTY or Georgia Relay Service access dial 711.

What is your make-up policy?

Most of our classes are progressive classes and require that you pay for a full month at a time. If you miss a class you can make up in any of our other classes offered during the week as long as it is your level or lower (ie. Beginner I can make up in Beginner I or II, but not in Intermediate). You may also drop in on any of our Aerial Fitness classes. If you know ahead of time that you will miss a class we will prorate the month, for less than 3 classes a $25/class drop-in rate will be applied.  For special circumstances please communicate with instructor.
